In order to ensure compliance with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) regulation which came into force in June 2007, FountainHead Alloys has pre-registered the chemical substances contained within its products.
In following the guidance given on registration, FountainHead Alloys has taken the position that only its ingot products are preparations under REACH. All other products supplied are classed as articles and therefore outside the scope of the legislation.
For information, the following chemical substances have been pre-registered:
- Chromium
- Nickel
- Copper
- Molybdenum
- Niobium
- Titanium
- Vanadium
- Aluminium
- Cobalt
- Iron
- Silicon
- Manganese
Certain chemical substances fall below the one tonne requirement and will not be pre-registered.
Please be advised, that to the best of our knowledge, the products supplied by FountainHead Alloys do not contain any of the chemical substances of very high concern defined in Article 57 of the REACH regulation.
